SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Here's the itinerary for the upcoming Llano Longhorn Roundup Futurity & Show. Any changes to start times for various events will be posted on this site and on Facebook pages: Friday, October 14, 2022 10AM - 3PM Arrival and check-in 5PM LONGHORN FUTURITY Saturday, October 15, 2022 10AM NON-HALTERED SHOW / FEMALES 1PM NON-HALTERED SHOW / STEERS 6PM Bar-B-Que Dinner (for VIP ticket holders) 7PM LLANO PBR BULLS / Extreme Bull-Riding Show All cattle must be out of the barn by 11:00AM on Sunday, Oct 16, 2022. The Bar-B-Que Cookoff will be taking place starting on Friday afternoon and continuing into Saturday afternoon. After the cook-off judging is completed, the bar-b-que prepared will be served at 6:00 pm on Saturday evening for all VIP ticket holders for the LLANO PBR BULLS extreme bull-riding event. Show participants and spectators are invited to tour the cooking camps on the arena grounds during Friday and Saturday and watch the pit masters in action. This cook-off is organized and sponsored by the Lone Star School of Taxidermy.
JUDGES ANNOUNCED FOR SHOWS
LLANO LONGHORN ROUNUP is proud to announce the selection of an outstanding panel of top caliber and well-recognized judges for the upcoming Roundup Futurity to be held on Friday, October 14th. This group combines many years of cattle judging and breeding experience on multiple levels and includes: Russell Hooks Sarah Galloway Jodie Ging Macha Gary Bowdoin Donnie Taylor We apologize for these last-minute changes with our judging panel. Note 1: PJ Budler has had to cancel his commitment to judging for this show due to work obligations and he has been replaced by Jodie Ging Macha on the Futurity Judging Panel. Note 2: Julie Pack, DVM has been called away as part of the Texas A&M Emergency Veterninary Services Team to help with the recent hurricane disaster in Florida. Gary Bowdoin has been tapped to take her place on the Futurity Judging Panel. Note: 3: Due to unexpected travel problems, Lana Hightower will not be able to be at Llano. She will be replaced by Donnie Taylor on the Futurity Judging Panel. Russell Hooks will also be serving as the judge for the Non-Haltered Show on Saturday, October 15th. We hope you will be on hand to have your Texas Longhorn heifers and bulls evaluated in the show ring during these two outstanding show events and to see how they stack up in front of this respected group of judges. |
